Is The Relationship Souring Between Murdoch And Fox's Ailes?

As head of News Corp. Rupert Murdoch tries to stem the damage from the British hacking scandal, reporter Tim Dickinson takes a closer look at Murdoch's relationship with his holding Fox News, specifically its chairman Roger Ailes.

Fox is the most profitable arm of News Corp. and Dickinson says that has given Ailes power within the company--that some say makes him impossible for Murdoch to manage.

"There is some deep enmity that has developed over the years." Dickinson says that's in part because Ailes helped engineer the ouster from News Corp. of Rupert's son Lachlan Murdoch, who was long Rupert's heir-apparent.

Fox News responded to this story by saying that "Tim Dickinson is a fraud who continues to peddle lies about Roger Ailes, FOX News and Rupert Murdoch."
