Girls Take Center Stage At Math Contest
A few hundred high school girls from around the country at MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts this weekend to compete in the only national, all-girls math contest.
It's called the "Math Prize for Girls" and it has the biggest monetary award for a girls math contest in the country-- $25,000.
Victoria Xia was this year's winner, she's a 10th grader who attends Thomas Jefferson High School of Science and Technology in Vienna, Virginia.
The Math Prize for Girls is sponsored by the Advantage Testing Foundation.
