NATO has apologized for an airstrike that killed 24 Pakistani troops at a checkpoint on the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan, but angry protests across Pakistan show the apology might not be enough.

There are also questions about what exactly happened Saturday morning. Pakistan is denying reports that it opened fire first.
