It's called the center piece of the London Olympics — the $760 million Olympic Park. It was home to what's being called the most elaborate Olympic Opening Ceremonies ever, and this week it hosted the world's most talented track stars.

But despite the millions of dollars and countless man hours, officials say after the Games, they want to reduce the size of the stadium by taking off the upper tier.

So what traditionally happens to Olympic Stadiums after their two weeks in the limelight when they fade into obscurity?
