In Tampa, some Republicans are putting the "party" back into Grand Old Party. At the Ybor City club "Honey Pot" Tuesday night, the gay Republican group GOProud threw a bash they dubbed "Homocon."

Here are some of the concerns from Republicans at GOProud.

"Being black and being gay is hard enough. And being a black, gay conservative, in the media it’s like it never happens. But that’s who I am and that’s what I believe.”

"I think one of the societal misconceptions is that because you’re gay the only thing you think about is gay marriage..."

"Am I going to have a job, am I going to pay an exorbitant amount of taxes."

"What about job growth? what are we going to have healthcare, what are we going to have as just basic living rights as American citizens."

This segment aired on August 29, 2012.
