'The Bloggess' Jenny Lawson

Jenny Lawson, a.k.a. "The Bloggess" shares everything on her web site: her five-foot-tall metal chicken, her back-and-forth with former Star Trek star Will Wheaton, the photo of herself with a cat on her head, and why she thinks Morgan Freeman copied her.

But Jenny Lawson also has shared her struggles with anxiety, depression and infertility with her readers.

In her 2012 memoir "Let's Pretend This Never Happened (A Mostly True Memoir)," Jenny goes deep into the bizarre family history that spawned her skewed outlook on life and her desire to find humor in all situations.

"If I come up against something, whether it be infertility or anxiety disorder or depression, if I can find a way to laugh at it, there's something about laughing at something that's this enormous demon that makes it so much less of a monster," Lawson told Here & Now's Robin Young.
