In Egypt, restoring a sense of security more than two years after the revolution is proving to be a difficult task.

A significant part of the problem is the security forces themselves — particularly the Egyptian police force, which has a reputation for brutality and violence.

So how do you change a reputation? Start with training.

The BBC's Shaimaa Khalil reports that at the country's police academy, a new generation of recruits is being put through the paces.
