Syrian Conflict Tackled At Film Festival

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov pushed back today against French and U.S. demands that a military option must remain on the table if Syria fails to give up its chemical weapons.

On the ground in Syria, the civil war continues. A car bomb has exploded at a crossing point along the country's volatile border with Turkey. Refugees have been streaming across that boundary in larger numbers.

Those dangerous crossings are the subject of "Border," one of the films about Syria showing at the Toronto International Film Festival.
