Marijuana Tracking Aimed At Keeping Pot In Washington
ResumeSales of recreational marijuana will begin in the spring in Washington state. Efforts are underway to meet a top priority of the U.S. Justice Department: prevent marijuana "leakage" to neighboring states like Oregon and Idaho.
Barcodes will help Washington officials track marijuana from seed to sale, but technology alone won't necessarily keep Washington pot in Washington.
