The 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia start in a little more than a week. With 12 new winter sports added to this year's games, innovation is certainly alive and well.

NPR's Robert Smith joins Here & Now's Meghna Chakrabarti to discuss these new sports and offer a preview of what and who to watch.
