Breakthroughs In AIDS Prevention And Treatment
ResumeResearchers at a major retroviral conference in Boston announced what could be some major breakthroughs in the prevention and treatment of the disease.
These include the ability to eradicate the virus in infected children, a monthly shot that may prevent transmission of HIV and a novel gene therapy technique that also has the potential to cure the disease in adults.
