Google To Roll Out Driverless Car
PlayGoogle is building 100 experimental electric cars. The two-seat vehicles have no steering wheel, gas pedal, break or gear shift and won't go more than 25 miles per hour.
Instead, the cars use a smartphone app to pick up and deliver passengers to designated locations.
Business Insider executive editor Joe Weisenthal tells Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson what Google is trying to do with this self-driving car project and whether the regulatory system is ready to handle it.
