The folk rock band Delta Spirit  has its roots in California, but the band's latest album reflects the members' experience after they moved to the East coast.

Their studio was flooded by Hurricane Sandy and they spent a year rebuilding it.

The experience inspired their new album "Into The Wide."

The songs reflects a theme common after the devastation of the storm: survival.

Matt Vazquez, Delta Spirit's singer and guitarist, joins Here & Now's Robin Young to talk about the new album.
