Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz is holding a campaign event at a gun range in Iowa today, two days after the deadly mass shooting in San Bernardino, California. It's just one of the ways the shooting has affected the 2016 presidential race.

In other 2016 news, a CNN/ORC poll out today shows Donald Trump with a commanding 20-point lead over Cruz, his nearest competitor.
