Five years ago today, a Tunisian street vendor, frustrated and humiliated by authorities' harassment, burned himself to death in a public square. It touched off a revolution in that country and what we came to know as the Arab Spring.

Here & Now's Eric Westervelt looks back at the legacy of developments in Tunisia in December 2010 with William Lawrence, who is a visiting professor at George Washington University and the president of the American Tunisian Association.
