Pay Raises Come Back Slowly, As Companies Look to Compete

Even though the recession ended more than six years ago, the American work force is still feeling the repercussions.
NPR business editor Marilyn Geewax talks with Here & Now's Robin Young about wage raises in particular. They came back over the past year, albeit small, and they're expected to continue to return over the next year as unemployment falls and companies have to raise pay to retain and poach talent.
