A Walk Down Boston's 'Methadone Mile'

Next week federal regulators will decide whether to approve a new treatment option for opioid addiction. It's an implant in a patient's arm that releases a controlled drug called probuphine. And it could be the latest weapon available to help control the country's raging opioid problem.

The crisis is especially prevalent in the northeast - in small towns and big cities. Deborah Becker from Here & Now contributor WBUR recently took a tour of one of Boston's most notorious drug trafficking areas.
