The deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history took place at a gay nightclub right in the middle of Pride month. Though the gunman's motives are not yet known, his father has told the media that his son was recently angered by the sight of two men kissing in public.

President Obama on Sunday called the attack both "an act of terror and an act of hate." Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson talks to Dominic Holden, national LGBT reporter for BuzzFeed, about the attack, and how it's reverberating in the LGBT community.
