Comedian Tig Notaro's new memoir, “I’m Just a Person,” looks at how she came back from a particularly difficult time in 2012. In the course of four months, she was hospitalized with a bacterial infection, her mother died, and she was diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer. Notaro, now recovered, has a recurring role on the show “Transparent” and her first HBO special “Tig Notaro: Boyish Girl Interrupted," was broadcast in 2015. Jeremy Hobson spoke with Notaro about the show last August.
