In A First, Big Agriculture Aims To Defeat A Tea Party Republican In Kansas
ResumeRepublican U.S. Rep. Tim Huelskamp is in a desperate fight to keep his seat in the First Congressional District in Kansas, which holds a state primary tomorrow.
He's up against political newcomer Roger Marshall, who has the support of the powerful Kansas Farm Bureau. It's the first time in recent memory that the state’s major agriculture group has endorsed a candidate opposing one it previously supported.
