Can Bats Help Eliminate Zika-Carrying Mosquitoes?
ResumeSpraying operations to kill mosquitoes that may carry the Zika virus are underway in Miami's Wynwood neighborhood.
Some communities are also embracing natural approaches to decrease mosquitoes, like encouraging populations of bats. They can devour up to 1,000 mosquitoes per hour.
But Laura Rice from Here & Now contributor Texas Standard reports in the case of Zika, bats may not be the complete answer.
