Supporting Homeless Women With Undergarments
ResumeAt the start of 2016, Rachael Heger set a goal: Collect 3,500 gently used bras for women in need in Indianapolis by the time she turned 35 in December. She expected it to take most of the year, but it took just 88 days.
She was inspired by a Washington D.C.-based organization called Support the Girls. Now, Heger is setting up affiliates for the organization in cities around the country. Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson talks to Heger about her project and what inspired her.
