The Boston-based analytics company Humanyze is trying to give employers more information about how employees are spending their time.

It has developed a badge that tracks everything from how much a person sits at his or her desk, to whether they talk during meetings. The information may help companies track productivity. But it also strikes some as an invasion of privacy.
