New York's 3rd Congressional District includes parts of Long Island, and it was classified as a battleground this year.

But WNYC's John O'Connor tells Here & Now's Robin Young the race has not been very close, with Democrat Tom Suozzi running ahead of Republican State Sen. Jack Martins in the polls.
