Raising The Profile Of Disability Issues In The Presidential Campaign

The issues and concerns of disabled people haven’t been brought up much during the presidential campaign, even though one in five adults lives with some kind of disability.

Some people in the disability community are trying to change that, raising awareness of issues that affect disabled people and encouraging disabled people to be more involved in politics.
