Battle To Retake Mosul Continues After Months Of Fighting

The battle to retake the Iraqi city of Mosul from ISIS started last October. It continues, as Iraqi forces fight militants in the western part of the city, after already retaking the east. Iraqi troops are being supported by a coalition led by the U.S., with airstrikes and advisers on the ground.

Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson checks in with the BBC's Jeremy Bowen (@bowenbbc), who is in Mosul and describes scenes of devastation after months of fighting.
