President Trump is making some significant changes to his economic policy. He now says that China is not a currency manipulator, that he now supports the Export-Import Bank, and that he may even reappoint Janet Yellen as chair of the Federal Reserve.

Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson talks to NPR economics correspondent John Ydstie (@jey51) about these and other sudden reversals, and what they mean for Trump's economic policy.

This segment aired on April 13, 2017.
