Friday and Saturday, Camp Verde, Arizona, will celebrate its annual Cornfest. The town prides itself on having the best sweet corn in the state. But almost 50 years ago, it hardly had any.

It all started when Brenda Hauser asked her husband to plant a single acre, and it has since grown into a popular, festival-worthy crop.

Here & Now's Robin Young talks to Hauser of Hauser & Hauser Farms.

This segment aired on July 14, 2017.
