It was a breakout year for country musician Brett Young. His debut album came out in February, and his single "In Case You Didn't Know" peaked at No. 2 for 16 consecutive weeks on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Young was also nominated for a CMA Award in the new artist of the year category.

Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson revisits his conversation from August with Young (@BrettYoungMusic), who discusses his success as a singer, and how a baseball injury in college turned his focus toward music.

This segment aired on December 26, 2017.
