Blizzard Blankets East Coast With Snow, Ice And Heavy Winds

Blizzard warnings are in effect along a massive East Coast stretch — from the Carolinas to Maine — with up to 18 inches of snow expected in some areas, as well as strong winds and the promise of a new deep freeze to follow. Wind gusts of 50 to 60 mph are in the forecast for areas in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Massachusetts.
