When the new school year begins in a few months, some North Carolina schools will have armed officers patrolling the hallways. This comes after the February school shooting at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida.

But some students of color say they don't believe that will make them feel safer. Lisa Philip of WUNC reports.
