Ohio may soon allow dogs on restaurant patios. This week, the state's House of Representatives passed a bill that would redefine health code requirements so that customers could dine outside with their dogs. Several states, including California, Florida and New Mexico, already have versions of the law.

Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson speaks with state Rep. Laura Lanese (@lauralaneseohio) of Ohio's 23rd District, who sponsored the bill.

This segment aired on June 8, 2018.
