On Gun Violence, Trauma Surgeon Responds To NRA: 'This Is Our Lane'

Trauma surgeon Dr. Joseph Sakran created the Twitter page @ThisIsOurLane in response to recent statements by the National Rifle Association urging "anti-gun doctors to stay in their lane." It's attracted attention among ER doctors nationwide, who are posting images of themselves in their bloodied scrubs.
