President Trump declared a national emergency Friday morning, his way of getting funding to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border without congressional approval. The president also signed a spending bill that the House and Senate passed Thursday that provides $1.375 billion for a border wall and averts another government shutdown. Bloomberg News national political reporter Sahil Kapur (@sahilkapur) and NPR congressional reporter Kelsey Snell (@kelsey_snell) join Here & Now hosts Jeremy Hobson and Peter O'Dowd to review the week in politics.
