A man claiming responsibility for the shooting deaths of at least 49 people at mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, said in a document he had been planning the attack for two years. He claims to represent Europeans and whites in what he calls a battle against immigrants, people he repeatedly describes as “invaders.”

Here and Now's Peter O'Dowd talks to Seth Jones (@SethGJones) of the Center for International and Strategic Studies about the alleged shooter's attraction to the white supremacist movement.

This segment aired on March 15, 2019.
