Historian Julian Zelizer (@julianzelizer) says the way Republicans have reacted to Attorney General William Barr's summary of the Mueller report reminds him of the 2000 presidential election, when he says, Republicans declared victory before the results were in.

That election went to a partial recount in Florida, and was eventually decided in favor of George W. Bush over Al Gore in a Supreme Court decision. Here & Now's Robin Young speaks with Zelizer, professor of history and pubic affairs at Princeton University.

This segment aired on March 27, 2019.
