The restrictions on abortion signed into law earlier this month in Georgia are creating a backlash in the state's film industry. Some actors and directors have called for a boycott in Georgia over the law. Director Reed Morano and Kristen Wiig have changed plans and won't film upcoming projects in the state. Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson talks to Greg Bluestein (@bluestein), political reporter for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, about the potential impact of a boycott on the state's economy and whether a Hollywood boycott will have any influence over state politics.

This segment aired on May 23, 2019.
