Fitbit could soon be part of Alphabet Inc., Google's parent company, after a $2.1 billion offer was announced last week.

The acquisition would put Google in a stronger position in the growing market for wearable technology. But Google and other tech giants are also under increased scrutiny for possible antitrust violations.

Host Jeremy Hobson speaks with Kara Swisher (@karaswisher), editor at large at Recode and a columnist for The New York Times.

This segment aired on November 5, 2019.
