The fire after an explosion at a chemical plant in Port Neches, Texas, last week was finally put out on Tuesday. But then a chemical was detected in the air and a voluntary evacuation order was put out.

That order has now been lifted, but there are still a lot of questions about what happened in the community.

Here & Now's Peter O'Dowd speaks with Jacob Dick (@jdickjournalism), business reporter for the Beaumont Enterprise who has been reporting on the accident.

This segment aired on December 6, 2019.
