Businesses including hair salons and tattoo parlors will reopen in Georgia on Friday, making it the first state to begin reopening after a statewide lockdown. The decision came from Gov. Brian Kemp and sparked criticism from public health officials.

Even President Trump, who had previously supported reopening state economies, said he was "not happy" with the governor's decision.

WABE's Emma Hurt (@Emma_Hurt) talks to host Jeremy Hobson about the latest on the ground in Atlanta.

This segment aired on April 24, 2020.
