Starting Monday, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis plans to reopen stores and restaurants in the state. The rollout excludes some of the areas hardest hit by the coronavirus, including Miami-Dade, Palm Beach and Broward counties.

Here & Now's Tonya Mosley checks in with Adam Gersten, who owns Gramps, a bar in Miami which still isn't allowed to open fully. They spoke in March just as he was making the decision to lay off his staff and close his bar.

This segment aired on April 30, 2020.
