As COVID-19 Swells In Georgia, Governor Wipes Mask Orders Across The State

Governors in red states such as Montana and Alabama are among the latest to order that residents wear masks in public as the coronavirus continues to spread. But in Georgia, Republican Gov. Brian Kemp has done the opposite.

On Wednesday, he quashed all local orders that require masks as the state saw its second-highest count of new cases of COVID-19. Here & Now's Tonya Mosley speaks with Dr. Carlos del Rio, a professor of global health and epidemiology at Emory University in Atlanta.
