Due to a scheduling issue, this segment did not air on Aug. 6 as planned.

A carving on the side of Stone Mountain outside Atlanta honors the Confederacy.

There are ongoing efforts to remove the carving, which was created by the sculptor who carved Mount Rushmore. As Emil Moffatt of WABE reports, some people say it needs to be preserved.

This segment aired on August 6, 2020. The audio for this segment is not available.
