Climate change poses a major threat to U.S. financial institutions and the entire economy, according to a new report published by the Trump administration's Commodity Futures Trading Commission.

We talk to Robert Litterman, founding partner of the investment firm Kepos Capital and chair of the panel that wrote the report, about what policymakers have to do to avoid a financial disaster wrought by climate change.

This segment aired on September 10, 2020.
