Remembering Charley Pride, First Black Member Of The Country Music Hall Of Fame

Country music fans are remembering the man that many knew as the genre's first Black superstar, Charley Pride. The 86-year-old died in Dallas, Texas, over the weekend of complications from COVID-19.

Over a career that spanned decades, Pride won nearly every award available in his genre and in 2000, became the first Black member of the Country Music Hall of Fame. We look back at his life.
