As COVID-19 vaccine candidates roll out across the West, global health experts are criticizing the deals those countries have made directly with vaccine manufacturers. Poorer countries are being left behind, complicating a recovery that will involve global coordination.

Host Peter O'Dowd speaks with Thomas Bollyky, director of the global health program at the Council on Foreign Relations, about this emerging crisis.

This segment aired on December 14, 2020.
