The lasting effects of the floods compounded with the extreme economic crisis Pakistan is dealing with, as well as the refugee crisis, have resulted in Pakistan being in sore need of humanitarian aid.

David Miliband, CEO and president of the International Rescue Committee (IRC), visits Pakistan to see his organization's programs for climate resilience and water sanitation while holding high-level meetings with country officials on climate and humanitarian needs in the area. He joins Here & Now's Deepa Fernandes to discuss what he's seeing in the country.
