People try to flee Gaza as Israeli bombardment is expected to intensify

Roads are jammed as people leave Rafah with an impending Israeli attack coming. UNWRA, the United Nations agency that assists Palestinian refugees in the Middle East, closed its compound in East Jerusalem after right-wing Israelis burned the grounds. The U.S.-built floating pier is expected to open soon, bringing some aid into Gaza.
