How the GOP's war over democracy is playing out in Michigan

This November, control of both the White House and the Senate could be decided in Michigan.

The state is also a microcosm for the Republican Party's war over democracy, according to ProPublica's Andy Kroll. After Michigan voted for President Biden in 2020 by a narrow margin, supporters of former President Donald Trump ousted establishment Republicans but struggled to run the party they'd taken over.
