'El Chapo' son and Sinaloa cartel co-founder arrested in Texas
The son of infamous Mexican cartel boss “El Chapo” Guzman is behind bars in the U.S. Friday along with the alleged co-founder of the powerful Sinaloa cartel — both suspected of flooding the United States with the deadly drug fentanyl.
Ismael ‘El Mayo’ Zambada, 76, and Joaquin Guzman Lopez, 38, were part of a sting operation that tricked the men into boarding a plane to El Paso, Texas, where they were arrested by FBI agents.
